Between the Grinds wants to be your valentine.
“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close.”
― Pablo Neruda
Pablo Neruda was a Nobel-prize winning poet from Chile. He was the child of a railroad worker and a school teacher. Although his real name was Ricardo Eliezer Neftali Reyes y Basoalto, he adopted the pseudonym in honor of the Czech poet Jan Neruda. Also, Pablo was an outspoken supporter of communist leaders such as Stalin, Castro, and Batista. He was very much involved in the Chilean communist party because of the difficulties he faced in the Spanish Civil War. Despite his passion for Communism, he is mostly known for his beautiful love poetry. Check out Pablo Neruda’s love poems at Between the Grinds today. We have a copy waiting for you and your valentine.
